On the big day, all eyes and camera will be on you. How will you put your best face forward? With long lasting, flawless make-up. The use of sheer colors will create an overall glow resulting in a very natural luminous look.
Remember, bridal make-up should enhance your natural features, not hide them.

1Think timeless

Your wedding photos should withstand the test of time. No one wants future Grandchildren laughing at Grandma’s eye shadows! Steer clear from trendy make-up.

2Warm up your skin

For best photographic results, natural warm and soft pinks work great. Avoid products with too much shimmer and frost, they do not show up well in photo and have tendency to make your skin look oily.
Bronzing powder does wonder on most skin. To achieve a sun kiss glow, place on areas where the sun would naturally hit, forehead, bridge of nose and cheeks.
Don’t be scared of that blush, use enough for it to show in photography, there’s nothing prettier than rosy cheeks.

3Fabulous lashes

Play up your eyes while wearing minimum make-up. The use of single false eyelashes will enhance your eyes without looking like a drag queen. False lashes are a bride’s best friend!

4Shadow play

To add a touch of glow without overdoing it, place a small amount of white shimmery powder to the inner corners of eyes. The result, a bigger brighter eye.

5Staying power

Applying a face primer before your make-up application will help smooth the make-up and increase it staying power.

Purchase a make-up fixer, which will set your make-up and help it stay put during the whole event. In the old days we use to mist hairspray on the face, nowadays many make-up company have created effective make-up fixers — They’re great.

6Manage your shine

Apply an oil control lotion to the oiliest areas. Be sure the foundation and moisturizer are oil free. Use blotting tissues throughout the day to remove shine instead of powder.

7Longer lasting lips

One of the industry’s best kept secret for lips that lasts, is applying concealer as a base before your lip pencil.

8Bye bye blemishes

You just woke up with a dreaded new blemish! — Try dabbing on a drop of visine, this secret weapon will help decrease swelling and redness … and please don’t pick.

9Wear that sunscreen

You arrive in Key West a few days before your wedding — avoid getting burned, apply sunscreen religiously throughout the day. Red, flaky skin is far from ideal before any make-up application.

10• From day to evening

Change your daytime look instantly by using a deeper shade of lipstick. I love red at night, but anything deep and glossy will do the trick.

On your wedding day keep your make-up simple and natural. You want to look beautiful without being preoccupied by it. Be a gorgeous bride!
