Buttercream Frosting… In a Body Cream
Leaving in Key West where the sun and the sea are constantly challenging even the most protected skin, I’m always on the look out for truly exceptional body care.
My favorite body product at this moment is Jaqua Buttercream Frosting Body Butter. I first discovered this little gem while shopping for a thank you present for a very picky friend. I ordered it online and before wrapping it up I couldn’t help but open and smell the little jar. OMG, I immediately had to get one for myself!
Jaqua’s products are well known for their confection-inspired, delectably sweet body products. Their best seller, Buttercream Frosting Body Butter, really does smell like icing on a cupcake! The scent is intoxicating and decadent, amazingly authentic, not fake or synthetic in any way. And yes, I just wanted to eat it.
The aroma lasts for while on the skin and the ultra-hydrating property of the Shea butter are a definite bonus. I love this stuff so much that I can’t wait to try all the other yummy flavors.
This brand isn’t just for the gourmand though. Perhaps aware that buttercream frosting isn’t everyone favorites, Jacqua also created Pink Potion which is based on white florals. Jasmine, tuberose, clove and Indian Mimosa make a divine combination and the Jojoba oil and jasmine extract will leave your skin smooth and oh so soft. The scent is ultra girlie with a touch of sophistication. Not too sweet, just right.
