The Collapse Of The Souffle
Thursday October 3, 2008
I’ve been a fervent “Murad Intensive wrinkle reducer” user and can honestly say that my skin would be lost without it.
The high content of AHA combined with other super ingredients make this product a champ in the fight of wrinkles, but what no one talks about, is how greatly it can help acne prone skin. It has helped mine tremendously. While I can’t vouch for its anti wrinkles properties claims (I don’t have wrinkles just fine lines, and I didn’t notice any drastic improvements) I can assure you this product has made my skin stay clear of nasty acne eruptions. Real clear.
As a result, my face loves it….my wallet not so much. With a $150 price tag for less than an ounce I always thought I would nice to find a cheaper alternative. Enters AHA Souffle 12% glycolic… or so I thought.
I first heard about Souffle from reading Paula Begouns best seller “don’t go to the cosmetics counter without me“. Then after doing some research I stumbled upon a beauty forum where the reviews were glowing. OMG I thought, where have been?? I ordered souffle, started to use it immediately. It’s been 5 days since I begun the treatment… my skin has been rapidly deteriorating. Not only are my pimples returning with a vengeance, they’re also coming back in a weird sort of way. Instead of surfacing for the inevitable extraction like they usually do, they’re now forming, deep under the skin, hard little nodules. The worse part of it all, is how much they hurt! YUCK.
So Much much for a cheaper alternative!
Needless to say I’m tossing Souffle in the trash and will resume tonight my relationship with my treasured Murad.
Has anyone had any exprerience (good or bad) with Souffle? Do tell.
