Product Review: Eve Pearl Magic Salmon Concealer
Sunday March 15, 2009

I don’t like concealer period. Too thick, cakey and pasty looking to apply under the delicate eye area, I prefer foundation to conceal darkness – hands down.
I may dab some concealer on myself to hide the occasional God awful looking pimple, but rarely use it on my brides who airbrush make-up has become the preferred method of application for flawless skin.
After reading some reviews on “Eve Pearl Magic Salmon Concealer” I decided it was time to give concealer another try.
I purchased the Magic Salmon Concealer Trio (light, medium, dark). Its $8.00 more, for all three colors, than the individual single color, but it allows for custom blending to achieve THE perfect shade. The trio works well for the consumer and is ideal for MUA.
Dark circles are gone
What I like about this concealer is how it applies like a dream, blends ever so smoothly and does a phenomenal, I mean PHENOMENAL job at counteracting dark circles. The secret is in the underlying color, peachy/pink, which cancels out any darkness around the eyes. As an added bonus the concealer is full of antioxidants.
Not so great in humid climate
Extremely moisturizing this concealer would probably be ideal for a drier climate. In Key West, where the humidity ranks super high, I find it too greasy and therefore not long lasting enough.
