Product Review: NARS Multiple

NARS blush and lip gloss in orgasm are staples in my make-up bag,  I pretty much use them everyday and have for years.  I had been eyeing NARS Multiple for a while, and decided during my last outing to Sephora to buy it, despite its steep price tag ($37).  A blush, eyeshadow and lip color all at once?  Let’s see.

At first, I didn’t really care for it, but after telling one of my girlfriends about my initial disappointment (who looked at me in horror and said” WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDN’T LIKE IT?!!!  I thought I should pull it out again…  Second time around, I like even less.  What’s the big whoop-la?

I swiped Multiple on my cheekbones and could barely see it.  Swiped it again, and again, AND again and the color was barely there, all I could see was this great shine that made my face looked greasy.  Not really what I was going for.

On my eyelids it was okay, nothing to be excited about, that’s for sure.  I can replicate the exact color with MAC Paradiso for a fraction of the price.

Not good on my lips either, rather pasty looking.  I felt the need to add a gloss to make it look semi decent, which really defeated the purpose.  Might as well stick with my Orgasm lip gloss which provides the right color and the amount of shine all at the same time

I’m still baffled by all the glowing reviews…  what is my color choice perhaps?

Have you used NARS Multiple before?  What color? Did you like it?

Well darn. I got all excited and just ordered Orgasm and Copacabana, based on the, um, orgasmic reviews. This in spite of my dislike of putting gooey things on my clients’ faces.
I love your reviews. You’re pretty much always spot-on, so I imagine Copayment and orgasm will not be seeing much action.
