My Visit To MAKEUP FOREVER In Paris

My weekend started off with a bang, a visit to the MAKEUP FOREVER boutique in Paris!
Located 5 rue De Boetie in the 8th arrondissement, the store is hidden in a very old building. The location, away from tourists in a true local neighborhood, is extra appealing, but the boutique set up, is really what makes this spot a true make-up haven.
Massive amount of cosmetics, (everything the company makes), including dozens of styles of lashes, were in display for visual and tactile pleasure. Pro cases, make-up pouches, bags, containers, empty palettes and brushes all readily available for purchase. They even honor pro cards from the states, I almost died when I found out! Can you imagine what could have happened to me in there? Thankfully, the thought of El Genio completely losing it over an insane amount of MU stuffed into my luggage kept crossing my mind… I ended up with just few inconpsicious brushes. 
So while *I heart me some MAC*, I really feel MAKEUP FOREVER is above all a true pro line. There’s no new collection, mass marketed every other week, and no discontinued product and color at whim… buh bye. MUFFE is a solid line, with cutting edge, top quality products made for awesome creations and here to stay.

Yes! I love how they don’t smudge when it’s super hot out!
They’re the best, I use them on my brides all the time. Have you tried the Aqua lipliner? Equally awesome.
