feet

Hiya girlies, how is everyone doing on this beautiful Thursday?

I’m going crazy trying to attend to all the details before leaving for a 5 day workshop in Miami.

El Genio is rather worried about my upcoming departure.  Making lunches/snacks/diner everyday for the monkeys, doing laundry, grocery shopping, the list goes on is freaking him out.  LMAO.  Jasmine and Serena are not too thrilled about daddy doing their hair :w00t: — I don’t blame them.

I dreamed about wedding shoes last night…

It takes all kinds

Key West being a destination wedding, the footwear varies greatly.  I’ve seen bare feet, feet with jewelry, flip flop, sandals — Super casual to serious designer.  I remember one of my bride sporting some Louboutain stilettos covered in tiny little mirrors that were smokin’ hot!

The most unusual foot attire I’ve come across, was worn by an Hindu bride who had her footsies covered with an intricate henna design and adorned with white gold and diamond jewelry.
I couldn’t stop staring.

Mine were classic

The shoes I had purchase for my wedding were Kenneth Cole classic, low heel, antique white.
I wanted to dance my little heart out and wear something comfortable. What about yours?

My feet HATE shoes (as evidenced by my many busted blisters from a recent fire). If I were to get married, I’d definitely go barefoot…in the sands of some beautiful beach.

Willa, toes in the sand on a beautiful beach would be perfect for your sensitive footsies. No torture on a wedding day.

Hi Liz, thank you for the sharing the link. The sandals are so cute and the fact that custom work is available makes it even better. The company has a great purpose!

I was married (eloped in Martha’s Vineyard) in a vinatage lingerie nightgown – peach colored silk, and wore 1 1/2 inch raw ivory colored silk mules – I couldn’t find a shoe that seemed appropriate for a simple vintage silk nightgown, but I had to walk a mile to the lighthouse to get married…so barefoot was out of the question..
