Ladies, Let’s start the week with a bang, shall we?

This lovely letter was sent to me by Patty a super cool bride who got married a few weeks backs.  And when I say cool, I mean COOL.  Look at the lace T length dress with a light mango accent, side chigon with a bird cage veil and that rockin feather on the side.

For the makeup, Patty wanted something old Hollywood, retro chic.  She had very soft features, beautiful skin and a freshness that really jumped at me when I first saw her.  My goal was to enhance these aspects as much as possible.  To make Patty’s skin even prettier I airbrushed the foundation and kept the focus on the eyes without making them look too dramatic.  Natural light shades were used for the shadows and thick liquid liner was drawn on the top lash line only.  Of course the false eyelashes were a MUST.

The hair was a loopy side chignon that incorporated the hair piece and bird cage veil seamlessly.  I loved it all.

This shot is my favorite, it captures Patty’s essence so perfectly.

So precious.
