MAKE UP FOR EVER HD High Definition Microfinish Powder
Thursday November 12, 2009
Overall I find powders to emphasize fine lines and wrinkles and to look somewhat unnatural.
I seldom use them on my clients (airbrush makeup doesn’t require any setting product) and try to avoid them on myself — I always feel like my complexion looks dead afterwards.
But not anymore my lovelies! Moi and my MUFE HD powder ($30) are like THIS.![]()
Colorless and translucent
This super silky powder gives a matte finish without adding color or texture. I don’t know about you, but it’s nice to know that no matter what, my powder will match my skin color. MUFE HD powder blends in flawlessly giving my complexion a gorgeous radiance. I read other reviews saying the powder is too white and make them look ghostly. Don’t use too much, a little goes a long way, or else you’ll look like you just drench your face in flour.
Helps my make-up stay put all day
I have combination skin (more oily than dry) and because of the shine I have to retouch my face. With this powder I can go on about my day without having to pull out my makeup bag. I’ve never seen anything like it.
Sheer coverage
The coverage is sheer, if you’re looking for coverage this is not your powder.
Subtle airbrush
The Ultra fine, spherical micro-particles made up of 100% mineral silica powder reflect natural and artificial light creating a “soft focus effect” to the skin. Fine lines and imperfections are softened, pores diminish too just like a subtle airbrush appearance. MUFE HD powder gives the smoothest most illuminizing finish ever!
No bargain, but worth it
While a $30 price tag for 0.35 oz may make you wonder if you’re dipping your brush in gold, the fact that a single jar has lasted me over 4 month has made the purchase totally worth it. So if you can fork up the mula go for it, you won’t be disappointed.
