Unsung Heroe: Mac Blushbaby

When I first met Mac Blushbaby ($18.50) it wasn’t love at first sight. She was suggested to me by a fellow makeup artist who also does brides all the time. He said the natural rosiness was hard to beat. So I bought her cuz’ I love rosy cheeks!
First application was a winner. The color is described as a “flush beige pink” but shes comes out as a light pinky brown on my skin. I’ve used on many clients after that and seriously, she looks fantastic on everyone so far.
Blushbaby is part of Mac Sheertone collection which I love for their texture. Super easy to apply and buildable, very natural colors with no shimmer but not too flat either. Highly recommend.
What’s your favorite blush?
Mac Strada is about as “rosy” as I get….and I argue that it’s too festive for my personality. The drag queens love it on me.
I would have never picked that one for you! Dolly mix for sure.
