One of my reader (Hi Willa!) who left a comment on my “How to Boost Your Hair Volume” post, got me wondered about Bumpits and their popularity… Are women wearing Bumpits on the street?
I played around with Bumpits once trying to show my friend Julie how to use them. I have to say it worked well with her hair, but then again she has 7 pounds worth of it. My concerns with the Bumpits are: 1. What if the hair split revealing the Bumpit? 2. What if it falls off????
So let me ask you ladies, have you ever used the miracle pouf maker?

i saw a commercial for these yesterday! hilarious! i’m dying to know if they do work…hmmmm…
my colorist says they’re quite hard for the average person to get the hang of and that they don’t work with all heads.
Kyla, it worked on Julie well but she has awesome hair!
I can’t imagine the bumpits working on everyone’s head, they’re just one shape and like “one size fits all” a lot of time it just doesn’t.
I’ve never used one, nor do I WANT to, after seeing that ridiculous commercial! HAHAHA I mean it’s a nice look to sport for a special occasion, if you can pull it off, but c’mon…it’s not for everybody. And this commercial has everyone from teeny boppers to soccer moms wearing one.
