NARS Kuala Lumpur, and Hello Great Lengths Hair extensions!
Friday January 29, 2010
When I heard the NARS Spring Collection 2010 was inspired by Catherine Deneuve’s role as Lucille in La Chamade, I HAD TO CHECK IT OUT. I grew up watching Catherine Deneuve, I’m a huge fan.
Doesn’t Amber Valetta looks like a barbie doll gone Star Trek?
One quick look at the 8 piece ensemble, and I knew Kula Lumpur Dual eyeshadow ($32) would be mine. There’s something about plum-ish with a hint a gold eyeshadow that makes me want to: (SHOUT) Kick my heals up and (SHOUT) …. Throw my hands up and (SHOUT) … Throw my head back and (SHOUT)! Yep, and I’m not even kidding.
The darker shade is more versatile than it looks. With a fluffy brush such as my cannot-live-without Mac 217 I get a light wash of color totally build-able and suitable for any occasions. A firmer brush will pack on the pigment, and this color is perfect for a smokey eye. I also used it as an eyeliner, it was gorgeous.
The lighter color is as delicious and easy to apply. Rose-gold slightly iridescent with a sprinkle of shimmer can be used with many different color eyeshadows or just as quick wash of color on the lid for a subtle brightness. I’m pretty sure this color is going to be a huge seller.
I’ve been wearing the light shade all over my lid as my base. I lightly apply the darker color in the crease and blend, blend, blend. Very pretty.
Is anyting tempting you?
My long awaited 3 days Great Lengths Hair Extensions course is finally here!!!!! I’ll be leaving tomorrow after Jessica’s wedding to Miami for some fun learning. I love going away to workshops, I always come back so inspired! I’ll post photos and updates as the course progress and Key West be ready for long luscious locks!
Hope your Friday is rockin’ good. What are you up to?

You mean I can has my long hair back?!
Oh yeah hair extensions are just so beautiful. You miss your long hair?
Sometimes I do. How long do they last?
If you take good care of them they last about 6 months. About half way through my clients come back. I check them and replace the ones that have fallen out. They are very addictive.
Define “good care”…I may be one of those people that come back the next week!
The main thing is that you have to make sure you brush your hair everyday diligently to avoid getting dreads. When using hot implements such as curling or flat iron avoid the bonds, high heat weakens them. Last thing, when washing your hair it’s best to blow dry it completely.
they look really beautiful.
Can i know where are you located…could you email me your address…thank you!!
