Be Gorgeous, Be Smart, Rent Your Jewelry
Monday March 1, 2010
This weekend one of our lovely brides (Hi Danielle!) was sporting some stunning earrings. Instead of paying over $11,0000 she spent $280 by renting them — HOW GREAT IS THAT???? I wanted all the details, she happily shared. The Website ADORN.com offers DIAMOND JEWELRY RENTAL SERVICE FOR WEDDINGS AND OTHER SPECIAL OCCASIONS. The way it works is pretty straight forward.
1. Go to the website and shop.
Check the availability of the piece you love for the date of your event. Place it in your shopping and pay a rental fee.
2. Rock it out!
Wedding, sweet sixteen, black tie event, doesn’t matter! These gorgeous pieces can be rented for any occasions.
3. Send it back
On the first business day after your event using packaging and pre-paid label Adorn provides for you. Drop it off at the nearest UPS and voila!
We had a fantastic weekend despite a less than ideal weather, what’s up with this cold, and rain in Key West? All our brides had a plan B (Thank God) and ended up moving their weddings either indoor or under tent. Everyone looked gorgeous and Happy! I LOVE weddings, they make me smile.
I have the day off today, whoohoo! This morning I met Leah for a killer workout at stay now I’m off with El Genio for a lunch date.
What’s happening with you ladies ? Are you at work or playing hookie?:silly:

love those earrings!
They were incredible!
Adorn Bride is FANTASTIC!
I’ve been living under rock.
I heard about it on The View or Martha when they were doing bridal episodes last year. There is a rather substantial list of excellent companies that you can rent VERY high fashion and expensive jewelry
Marie- I rented some gorgeous jewelry from In One Era ( Leda Andrews store ) on White St. beautiful vintage jewelry for sale there, really gorgeous vintage crystal earrings and bracelets and necklaces that for sale are quite reasonable.
Renting is the way to go why spend $$$$$.
Melody thanks for the tip sounds like a place I should check out.
you should definitely check this shop out. I was pretty wowed at the selection. And Leda is very good at matching jewelry to the dress and the occasion.
have you guys heard of Rent The Runway? You can rent party dresses for about a week or 2 for a fraction of the price of retail. They have some stunning garments
