Resiliency in Children. That’s what inspires me the most. The fact that children can go through extremely traumatic experiences and overcome the difficulties they’ve experienced and turn them into positive characteristics within themselves. I’m constantly inspired to continue working with children, helping them reach their maximum potential in school but mainly in life.
And there is also one person in my life who continually inspires me to combat racism, prejudices, and biases, my best friend and MOH, Annelise. Despite the resistance she experiences, she continues to fight it–whenever and wherever racism and prejudice is presented.
