Safety’s a must

As always, our clients’ health plays a huge factor on determining what products we offer. DHA, or Dihydroxyacetone is an ingredient in sunless tanning products and derives from plant sources such as sugar beets and sugar cane. DHA has been approved for topical application because the FDA has determined that it cannot be absorbed into the blood stream through your skin. However, when it is in atomized form, it can be dangerous if inhaled over long periods of time. Proper ventilation in salons that offer spray tanning services is not only imperative to your health but about to be implemented by the FDA.
