Product Review: my faceworks

I came upon my faceworks.com while mindlessly surfing. They sounded intriguing… Paper facial mask in a packet to address specific needs or concerns.  Unfold place over your pre cleanse face for 15 to 20m. Peel off, massage excess of solution into your skin. DONE.

With 13 different types of masks I just couldn’t decide which one to get. And at $55 a box for a set of 6 masks they’re not exactly a bargain.  Let see… Do I need a quickie, or to open my eyes? To replenish, bring back my youth, or simply be tame? Decisions, decisions, I need them all!  I ended up going with the starter kit ($45), the company 5 best facial sheets.

• Vitamin-C Radiance – i need to wake up.
• Green Tea – i need to detox.
• intense Hydrating – i need to replenish.
• Coenzyme Q10 – i need damage control.
• Collagen Boosting – i need to be firm
• Relaxing Lavender (New)* – i need to relax.

Here I am face just cleansed (NO MAKEUP — Yikes!) unfolding the paper mask.

Freddy here I come! The mask I have on is the Vitamin-C Radiance. It felt like my face was getting splashed with fresh mandarin juice, I could have bathed my entire body in it.  Refreshing!  15m later I removed the mask, and with 2 fingers using circular, I massaged my face to help the rest of the product penetrate. My skin felt soft, but in need of serious moisturizer, which I didn’t expect.

Overall the experience was pleasant. but no particular brightening effect were noticed. No sure I would purchase the Vitamin-C Radiance again.  Very curious to try the rest.

Rise and shine, morning glory. How was your weekend? Mine was busy and filled with love. All our brides were wonderful and talk about perfect weather. I hear it’s getting chilly up North, we’re still in flip flops over here. Tee-hee. Other than continuing to shop for our Thanksgiving feast I don’t have much going on today.  Imagine that.
