Product Review: Body Bling – Moisturizing Shimmering Body Lotion Original

This ain’t gonna be pretty my lovelies.  I had high hope.  Scott Barnes, Jennifer Lopez those are good names.  But nope, Body Bling let me down in more ways than one.

On a positive note, I like the blingy package… You might as well stop reading now.  You don’t need this.

For those of you still reading,

• Product is hard to apply.  It won’t go on smoothly unless using lots of tenacity.  Better be prepared to rub and RUB and Rub.  I’d rather use my tenacity elsewhere.

• Be prepared to wash your hands afterwards too. Body Bling stains.

• The color is way too bronze for me.  Now granted this is the original formula which is dark.  Since I am of Mediterranean descent I assumed it would work.  Never assume.  This may look good if  you’re really tan?  Just a guess. Don’t know.

• The stuff rubs off like you wouldn’t believe.  I applied it last night and about 2 hours later went to bed.  My sheets were a mess this morning.  So can you just imagine what type of effect you would get while wearing anything white in South Florida?  Not bride friendly. YIKES!

• And then the second ingredients made me gasp.  Are you kidding me?  See below.

I was astounded  to see mineral oil listed.  And even worse as second ingredients.  Ludicrous considering the $40 price tag!

Scott sweetie, what the hell were you thinking?

Now Body Bling also comes in Platinum which apparently is much lighter in color.  I haven’t tried and won’t.  The thought of smearing mineral oil all over my body doesn’t do a thing for me.

But if anyone out there has tried it let me know your thoughts.
