Celebrating Natalie Brown: “Live Gorgeously!” May Semi-Finalist
Congratulations to the lovely and beautiful Natalie Brown, our very first “Live Gorgeously!” Facebook Fan Photo Contest semi-finalist! I was thrilled to see her gorgeous picture posted to my Wall just one day after announcing the contest on May 20, making her our very first contestant!
For her March 23, 2012 wedding at the Casa Marina Resort, she’s already won her choice of either a FREE spray-tanning session or a FREE application of false eyelashes. And she is, of course, in the running for the Grand Prize of free hair and makeup for her and her entire bridal party! Sound too good to be true? One of the things that makes my job so rewarding is getting to know my brides and their love stories, so let’s get to know Natalie! She is a talented interior designer in Rochester, New York and as fate would have it, about five years ago Chris DiMascio, a real estate investor and restaurant owner, was building a home on Lake Ontario. The two met through Natalie’s sister and a mutual friend, and Chris hired Natalie as his interior designer. Their professional relationship turned to friendship, and within nine months the two were in love! They now live in that home on Lake Ontario that they designed together, and Chris lovingly refers to Natalie as “the designer who never left!”
Their love story with Key West is just as adorable! Three years ago they went on their first cruise together and hated it! Key West was the first port, and they literally jumped ship to stay in our island paradise for the remainder of their vacation at the Casa Marina Resort (remember, where their wedding will be?!). They fell in love with Key West and have been back at least ten times since then. Chris proposed to Natalie in March, and it was only natural that they plan a destination wedding in Key West.
