Congratulations Lindsay Sheldon: June’s “Live Gorgeously!” Semi-Finalist

Our June winner is Lindsay Sheldon and her story is as sweet as can be. She and her fiance Jacob are high school sweethearts! They first started dating their freshman year and every year, their feelings for each other grew more serious. After graduation, Jacob headed to Stetson University where he is studying Physics and Lindsay went to Florida State College at Jacksonville where she’s studying Medical Technology. They’ve maintained a long distance relationship for nearly two years. Lindsay’s excited to finish school early next fall and move closer to Jacob. When they’re together they love hiking, camping, and going to the movies.
Jacob’s family had been to Key West many times, and Lindsay joined them last September on her first trip to our lovely little island. They enjoyed their time in classic Key West fashion–snorkeling, sunset cruising, and eating delicious food at our wonderful restaurants! Lindsay was so impressed with the island’s atmosphere that she and Jacob decided it was the perfect place for their intimate, laid back celebration on October 7, 2012.
I, for one, am thrilled to meet this sweet young lady. It will be an absolute pleasure getting her gorgeous for her big day in Key West. She’s already won her choice of a free spray-tanning session or false eyelashes application, and she’s in the running for the grand prize: FREE hair and makeup for her and her entire bridal party! Good luck in the contest, Lindsay, and I can’t wait to meet you!
I’m Jacob’s mother…I may be prejudiced but they are wonderful young adults. We love Lindsay, she’s so mature, thoughtful and sweet. Both are working extremely hard at putting themselves thru school. Jacob, a physics engineering major, has been on the Dean’s list at Stetson University for two years now, as has Lindsay at her school while constantly working, sometimes having two jobs! Both her parents and we are very proud of both of them! THANK YOU (!!) for this wonderful opportunity you are giving them, they truly deserve it!
