Janine & Lindsay’s 400+ Votes, June’s “Live Gorgeously!” Showdown
If you’ve been following the “Live Gorgeously!” Facebook Fan Photo Contest, then you had to have noticed the “photo-finish” race between Janine McCaffrey and Lindsay Sheldon. During the month of June, the girls both managed to rally over 200 votes in a neck and neck race. About a week before the end of the month, I jotted down everyone’s votes and saw Lindsay at 233 and Janine at 238. I was so impressed! Little did I know, that was just a warm up for these two!

Within the last 48 hours, they both rallied to get the vote out and each doubled their votes to over 400. Watching the comment thread throughout the month was so inspirational. It’s obvious that these are a couple of warm and wonderful girls. They had such an outpouring of support from their friends and families.

They also demonstrated amazing “sports-womanship!” At 12:01am on July 1, Janine commented on Lindsay’s picture: “CONGRATS!!! I tried… but you got me in the end!!!! :)”
Lindsay racked up 451 votes while Janine rallied 437. Amazing!
Lindsay’s fiance posted: “Very well done Janine. I’m impressed with how many likes both contestants got!”
Lindsay’s mother Kathy posted on Janine’s picture: “I just wanted to wish you every happiness in your upcoming marriage. Congratulations and best wishes!”
Janine’s mom Jane joined in with her congratulations, and good wishes and lots of love was spread between the two families. There was even a brief campaign on both sides to award two winners! I’m such a softy, I’d love for everyone to win! That’s why I’ve allowed room for 4-6 wild card semi-finalists to be entered into the finals round. That announcement will come in December!
My semi-finalists stand to win a complete hair and makeup styling package for them and their entire bridal party on their wedding day valued at $1,000.
