Congratulations Amy Bohaczek: July’s “Live Gorgeously!” Semi-Finalist

My first impression of Amy and Mark is that they’re not only very much in love, but they are a fun-loving couple with a true island spirit. I loved the picture Amy entered into the “Live Gorgeously!” Facebook Fan Photo Contest.

She and Mark are smiling at a dinner table, and Amy’s got a Corona in her hand. Amy’s wearing a pair of earrings with a lot of personal style that almost coordinate with Mark’s tattoo peeking out of his shirtsleeve. When I requested she send me a few more pictures for the blog, there was her gorgeous smile with Mark (his smile is gorgeous, too! ) in tropical locations and drinks in hand. I love it! I can just tell that this couple has a zest for life and each other.

After being introduced by mutual friends in January of 2010, they quickly realized their lives had gone down parallel paths, both having attended the same parochial school in Wisconsin. In May, they planned their first vacation to Cabo San Lucas–a girl after my own heart!  During that trip, they fell that much more deeply in love and knew that they were meant for each other.

Mark proposed March 5, 2011 before a pending trip they had planned for Key West in May. They knew they wanted a fun, intimate wedding in a beautiful, warm location and their vacation to Key West turned into a wedding planning trip! Their April 14, 2012 wedding will be at the beautiful Ocean Key House with the reception at the colorful Sunset Pier. This adorable couple from Kenosha, Wisconsin can’t imagine a better place to begin their life as a married couple than in Key West.
