August’s “Live Gorgeously!” Competition is Heating Up!

It’s been an exciting few months since I’ve launched the “Live Gorgeously!” Facebook Fan Photo Contest! Every lovely bride-to-be has been unique and every month the competition is a little different. From Natalie Brown, our very first contestant in May to every single contestant who has come since, I always tingle with excitement when I see a new picture on my wall!

This month we have three lovely ladies who have thrown their hats (or veils…?) into the ring so far! Let’s learn a little about each of them:

Danielle Turner posted an adorable pic of her and her fiance Jeff on August 3rd. So far she’s racked up an impressive 164 votes. Their wedding is planned for April 21, 2012 at the lovely Casa Marina Resort. Good luck Danielle! It’s been wonderful getting to know you during the course of the competition!

Jennifer Storke and Matthew are back! After an intense, down-to-the-wire competition in July with Amy Bohazcek where both girls garnered over 500 votes, Jennifer’s taking advantage of the fact that you can re-enter the contest every month for your chance to win! After posting this absolutely stunning and romantic picture on August 8 she’s up to 354 votes already. What a competitor!

These sweethearts met about a year ago on eHarmony. In March, Matthew popped the question in St. Augustine during their first “mini-vacation” at a bed and breakfast. A year later, in March 2012 they plan to tie the knot at the Hemingway House.

“Facebook and the graciousness of others to lend two minutes of their time to vote and post is a powerful thing, and I am really lucky to have so many people in my life who are willing to help,” Jennifer told me via email.

Finally, Frances Preffer submitted this adorable pic of her and her fiance Mike on August 9. What a handsome couple! She’s rallied 127 votes so far along with a great shout-out from her friend’s yoga studio in New Jersey. Her wedding is scheduled for May 18 at the picturesque Westin Resort & Marina.

All three of these beautiful girls have done an amazing job this month. I wonder if we’ll get anymore competitors for August for their chance to win free hair and makeup for their entire bridal party or if potential contestants are intimidated by the high number of votes these three have already gotten. I certainly encourage anyone to enter at anytime, as I will be selecting a handful of wild card semi-finalists in December.

If August’s competition is anything like June and July, it will be an exciting race to the finish! I’ll be watching when the clock strikes midnight on August 31 to see who wins! Good luck girls, you’re all exquisitely gorgeous!
