In celebration of Spring Break, I took my girls to Orlando for a couple of days. Have you ever visited Orlando? It’s like a huge playground! On the schedule: Islands of Adventure, Aquatica, room service, and fancy mall shopping. We were all excited!

But then, something pretty tragic happened… The morning after our arrival, ready to do my makeup, I realized in complete horror that I HAD LEFT MY MAKEUP BRUSHES AT HOME. izzy:  Oh Geez, I thought, time to move onto plan B and use my fingers. The application of my foundation wasn’t too bad. The eyeshadows and blush, disastrous! :w00t:

Anywhoo, we headed to the nearest shopping mall and I ended up purchasing Bobbi Brown Basic Brush Set Collection. That little set has everything a girl on the move needs. I threw it in my purse and, voila! We were ready for some fun! I love it so much that sharing the love was in order…

I absolutely loved meeting Kim her siser and Mom! We got them ready in their room at the Ocean Key Resort on her beautiful day. Kim had several photos for her hair and makeup that she liked and I had no problem duplicating what she had in mind. She is stunning!

Daisy and Brian had their Key West destination wedding just a few weeks ago.   Daisy, her sisters, Mother and Bridemaids got ready at the Ocean Key Resort. Shawn H. A very big congratulations to Jennifer Storke, the grand prize winner of our first ever “Live Gorgeously!” Contest. She has won free hair and makeup for her and her entire bridal party for her March 31st wedding at the enchanting Hemingway House in Key West.

Watching her and competitor Amy Bohaczek rocking the votes in the final hours was total of deja vu from the semi-finals round. In July, the girls each rallied over 500 votes, but Amy won in the end. In August, Jennifer was back and secured her win with no problem. Last night was a total nail biter, but in the end Jennifer was triumphant with a whopping 1,027 votes. Wow! I am beyond impressed.

It has been such an honor getting to know all of these lovely ladies over the months and the ending of the contest is bittersweet for me. I appreciated the shows of good sportsmanship by both Amy and Jennifer early in the evening. I’m also super impressed with Michelle and Frances for making the effort to create their own amazing videos and rallying nearly 400 votes each. It’s no small task!

Congratulations once again to Jennifer Storke, and remember ALL of our gorgeous monthly semi-finalists have won their choice of either a free spray tan or free false eyelashes application. I cannot wait to see you all in the coming months and congratulations to our winner Jennifer!

 

One thing I tried to do everyday is go to bed and thank God for all the blessings in my life and wake up grateful ready to embrace another beautiful day!

Ashley had her Key West destination wedding at the Ocean Key Resort. It was a beautiful day, Ashley never stopped smiling. :biggrin:

She wanted to wear her hair low on the nape with texture, without being too curly. Her hairpiece is classic!

 

 

Before her arrival in Key West Ashley had a MU trial at a MAC store. She had brought with her some of my favorite eyeshadow colors, Painterly, Sketch, All That Glitter. She also wanted falsies. I was rather excited!

Congratulations Ashley, it was so wonderful to be a part of your big day!
