I had so much fun styling Reannen for her Key West wedding.  Not only was she gorgeous on the outside but equally delightful on the inside. And to top it all off she had this incredible hairpiece made out of feathers and faux pearls, that was SO BEAUTIFUL!

Reannen had purchased her fascinator on etsy.com. For those of you still looking for something to adorn your do I would highly recommend etsy. It’s full of resource. I spend hours browsing their site.

Reannen had lots of hair and wanted to wear it up so as not to worry about it during her special day. Her hairpiece was the inspiration behind her hair.
 

For her makeup Reannen wanted a little drama and a lot of glam. Aside from wanting false lashes and black eyeliner Reannen gave me total creative freedom. I chose a combo of plum and blackberry eyeshadow to make her unusual eye color take center stage. For the lips I used a pretty pink and a shimmery gloss.

Alright my hard-working, lovely, gorgeous ladies, here’s your mission should you choose to accept it… The finals round of our “Live Gorgeously!” Facebook Fan Photo Contest is here! Our monthly winners along with our wild card semi-finalists will have the entire month of January to complete the following task:

You’ve all submitted gorgeous, fun, and fabulous pictures… Now, it’s your chance to make a short video demonstrating exactly why you think you deserve the grand prize of FREE hair and makeup for you and your entire bridal party.

You’ll have the until March 15, 2012 to:

• Create a gorgeous video
• Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo

Tara was a local bride that I absolutely adored.  She had her wedding on the pristine Little Palm and it was certainly a day to remember.  I met Tara, her awesome mom and MOH the morning of the wedding in their suite and spent the day making them beautiful. What a great day it was!

Tara, thank you for all the love and the gorgeous floral arrangement you mom had deliverd to the sudio. It was such an honor to be a part of your day.

Early on in the “Live Gorgeously!” Facebook Fan Photo Contest I made the promise to include a few wild card contestants in the finals round. Well, the new year is nearly here, and it’s time to reveal the four lovely ladies who will have the opportunity to compete alongside our monthly winners for the grand prize of free hair and makeup for her and her entire bridal party.

So Christmas was absolutely amazing!  Not sure who was more excited, the girls who were jumping up and down on their bed screaming: “SANTA’S COMING, SANTA’S COMING!!!” Or me who could hardly wait to see them opening presents.  It’s such a magical time of the year and I always have a hard time letting it go. So for that reason, I decided why not continue with the joy of giving.

I still have  to wrap all my presents. Ha! Hoping to get the girls to bed early so I don’t have to wrap until 2am. That may be wishfull thinking considering the excitement. Cheers to all!

My love/hate (mostly hate) relationship with the strapless bra begun way back as a teenager, and blossom into full-time misery when I moved to Key West and found myself wearing sundresses and tank tops as a way of life.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t recall how many times I found myself hoisting up my bra as it somehow found its way down to my waist. Annoying. Uncomfortable. 

Now what would you say if I told you I just found the creme de la creme strapless bra?

Also know as “The Strapless Bra That Will Make Your Girls HAPPY”,  this lingerie gem is a little pricey ($50), but oh so worth it!

As a 34B, I consider myself pretty average when it comes to my bosom.  I do have a wide back, one would think this characteristic would help prevent slippage. Nope, not at all.  Truth be told my complaints about strapless bras doesn’t stop at the slippage. Oh no, the list goes on: too padded, not enough support, too “squeezy”. POINTLESS.

After chatting with one of my clients who couldn’t stop raving about the Wacoal 854191 ($50), a padded push-up strapless bra that comes in two shades, beige and black, I headed over nordstrom.com and placed my order.

WOW! WOW! WOW! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!

First off the 854191 feels like I’m wearing a regular bra with straps. It gives my girls plenty of support and pushes them up just like a regular bra would, and it stays put! I was running and playing around with my little Serena and it didn’t move an inch. The underwire holds everything up and doesn’t cut into my sides. Nothing spills out either, the cups fit perfectly. The lace is gorgeous and not overdone.

The way it looks under clothing is as important as the way it feels and I couldn’t be happier.

Conclusion: The Wacoal 854191 is a must have.
